QiiQ Assistant is the complete ENTERPRISE solution for the ED administrator. It delivers significant value for the entire ED care team. The toolset and it’s plugins will steadily evolve and grow over time – in tandem with the appetite of our market and the tech we have available.

ABOUT GENERATIVE AI AND QIIQ
Generative AI, most notably fielded by OpenAI, presents stunning potential to QiiQ’s mission. We are already exploiting GPT-4 as incorporated into Microsoft’s Azure platform. Like almost every other vendor who’s automating clinical documentation, we’re utilizing the awesome transcription and summarization capabilities now available to us.
We also recognize the tremendous peril in “jumping quickly” to deploy generative AI without ensuring first that it’s serving a real business or clinical need. Secondly, we are very conscious of the need for “guard rails” that:
- reduce or prevent negative consequences of errors (hallucinations), or
- create unacceptable incentives.
Consider what happens to our healthcare systems if providers no longer need their critical thinking skills, and simply rely on AI to do it all.
This is a future we MUST avoid.
Thoughtful design will be more important than ever. Accordingly, QiiQ has baked it into our plan.
For brevity’s sake, note that we are very engaged in utilizing generative AI as effectively as possible, all while we keep the human element of healthcare’s promise to the world at the top of our priority stack.
